Tauchtruck war die Sensation auf dem Jugendkirchentag
Die Ev. Jugend Rüsselsheim auf dem Jugendkirchentag in Darmstadt
Vom 19. bis 22.6.2014 fand in Darmstadt der 7. Jugendkirchentag der Ev. Kirche in Hessen und Nassau statt - und das Ev. Dekanat Rüsselsheim war gleich zweifach dabei:
Dekanatsjugendreferent Alexander Kurz und seine Mitarbeiter/innen betreuten den "Tauchtruck", der am Karolinenplatz aufgestellt war. Dort konnten interessierte Jugendliche sich mit Tauchanzug und Sauerstoff-Flaschen ins kühle Nass stürzen und - ganz nebenbei? - auch noch einiges über Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede der Weltreligionen lernen.
Gemeindepädagoge Marko Schäfer war mit neuen Konfirmand/inn/en aus Bauschheim und Ginsheim auf der Spur von "James Bond 007" in der ganzen Stadt unterwegs. Auf die Jugendlichen warteten Aufgaben, die nicht nur sportliches Geschick, sondern auch "Köpfchen" erforderten. Am Ende der "Konfi-Rallye" stand der 4. Platz für das Ev. Dekanat Rüsselsheim - und ein Tag, der auch Pfarrer Wilfried Ritz (Ginsheim) und Pfarrerin Ellen Schneider-Oelkers (Bauschheim) viel Spaß gemacht hat.
